Role of ASA Coordinator at ISP
The role encompasses the comprehensive coordination of After School Activities (ASA), including program planning, budgeting, managing instructors, and overall program supervision, fostering a vibrant and educational environment for the ISP community.
- Reports to: Athletics Director or Associate Athletics Director
- Collaborates closely with: School Services Coordinator, Director of Strategic Enrollment, Maintenance Coordinators, Communications Manager, Administrative Assistants, After School activities instructors
Responsibilities (Including but not limited to)
- Responsible for the accountability of students while on the Afterschool Activities
- Prepares related documentation and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) reports related to ASA Program.
- Revise and update data on veracross related to ASA program.
- Coordinate and oversee the operations of the After School Activities (ASA) program for grades K-12 at ISP, including planning, recruiting, budgeting, and marketing. This role focuses on enhancing student development in creativity, art, sports, and academics by collaborating with the Athletics Department and developing policies with school divisions.
- Preparation of purchase orders for ASA equipment and materials.
- Manage the recruitment and performance supervision of external instructors in collaboration with Human Resources.
- Communicate effectively with the ISP community about ASA enrollment, schedules, meeting points, and updates, including the administration of the enrollment process.
- Collaborate with ISP’s communications personnel to refine promotional strategies for the ASA program, aiming to engage and attract students and parents more effectively.
- Helps to develop policies and procedures for operation of the after school activities program together with the school divisions.
- Overseeing the arrival of students and instructors to the ASA meeting point to ensure accountability and security.
- Attend and oversee the dismissal process for Atheltics and After School activities, ensuring a safe and efficient departure for all students.
- Attend and oversee lunch, school areas, and other student supervision duties for Atheltics and After School activities, ensuring safe and efficient departure for all students.
- Attend and support Athletics activities when After School Activities are not happening.
- Use SEQTA to report on student behavior issues or commendations, providing detailed and timely updates
- Maintain inventory and accountability of materials used for After-School Activities, ensuring proper storage and organization.
- Collaborate with the Athletics Department to coordinate the scheduling of spaces and activities, ensuring seamless alignment with their programs.
- Act as the point person for promptly sending invoice information to the finance department when required.
- Other duties to support the Athletics and Afterschool Activities Department as assigned

All ISP faculty, staff, and employees, as well as all students, parents and other relevant community members and service providers associated with the school (the “ISP Community”), have a legal obligation to report suspected incidences of child abuse or neglect whenever they have reasonable cause to believe that a child has suffered or is at risk of suffering any type of abuse regardless of the location where the abuse takes place.
